This is where you can come and see how your stats affect your character. Numbers round down. So if you're at an Endurance 60, you follow Average rules, Strength 90 would be fit rules, and so on and so forth.
Endurance
Endurance 0- Feeble. A character with this skill level is very weak, close to death or likely crippled they need some sort of help getting around. A bite is a death sentence, but this character has many things to worry about aside from a zombie bite. The apocalypse is no friend to the feeble.
Endurance 30- Weak. Perhaps the character is a small child, perhaps an elderly person. Another potential is Sickly. An illness could mean death for the person and a bite is certain death. Extreme cold is a problem, as is starvation. This person most likely needs to be looked after by others. It’s a dangerous thing to have to rely on others.
Endurance 50- Average. A normal human being in good health and decent physical condition. A bite is not necessarily a death sentence depending on location, if the person can amputate the wounded limb quickly.
Endurance 70- Fit. A person with this skill level has kept themselves in good physical condition. A bite can be dealt with quite easily by removing the effected limb, though they have longer time to do it than the average person as their healthy body fights the zombie virus off more effectively. This person can go longer than the average without food or water, and are better at staying out in the elements for long periods of time.
Endurance 100- Prime condition. This person has something that no other has. Though a zombie bite still requires amputation, those with endurance skill level ten can perform said operation on the spot and remain conscious. This person can go for long periods of time without food and water. This is the top of human endurance.
Strength
Strength 0 - Feeble. A character with this skill level is extremely weak, usually reserved for the elderly or very young, or perhaps the disabled. Unable to lift nearly anything over 20lbs. It's tough to be so useless in strength.
Strength 30 - Weak. This character is likely impaired in some way, though they are strong enough to carry equipment; a locked door, debris and anything heavier than about 50lbs is going to be an obstacle this character would be unable to get around.
Strength 50- Average. This is a normal human being. They can lift a relatively decent amount of weight, lifting up to 100lbs, though not for an extended period of time.
Strength 70 - Fit. This is a person who hits the gym. They can lift up to 250 lbs, for a decent amount of time. This person can move debris quickly, and a strong kick can take down a locked door.
Strength 100 - Prime condition. This is a person who is almost unnaturally strong. They can lift up to 500lbs, and can treat obstacles as if they were paper. This is the peak human specimen.
Resourcefulness
Resourcefulness 0 - Feeble. A character with this skill level is not resourceful at all. They are useless in finding survival items, are awful with combination and have trouble finding Scrap Metal.
Resourcefulness 30 - Weak. This character is unlikely to find survival items, though they may find a piece of Scrap Metal every now and then.
Resourcefulness 50 - Average. This character occasionally finds survival items and Scrap Metal. They are also able to combine items.
Resourcefulness 70 - Fit. This is a resourceful person. They are frequently finding items that can help with survival, locate Scrap Metal constantly, and are efficient in combining items.
Resourcefulness 100 - Prime condition. This person is incredibly resourceful. Practically every time they venture out of the Colony, they find items and Scrap Metal. They are so efficient in combining items that they can even melt down Scrap Metal to create bullets.
Perception
Perception 0 - Feeble. A character with this skill level hardly notices the world around them. They are unlikely to notice any zombies sneaking up behind them, and cant tell when someone is lying to them. They live in a bubble of ignorance.
Perception 30 - Weak. This character has difficult gauging other people, and are snuck up upon very easily by both man and monster.
Perception 50 - Average. This character has average perception. They are capable of detecting a lie, and Zombies are not usually able to sneak up on them, though other human beings could.
Perception 70 - Fit. This character is above average in perception. Lying to them is difficult, and other people have a hard time sneaking up on them.
Perception 100 - Prime condition. This person is aware of their surroundings at all times. When going to a location, they usually know exactly how many zombies are in the area, and other people can't sneak up on them, their senses telling them ahead of time. They are practically human lie detectors as well.
Combat
Combat 0- Feeble. Useless in a fight. No hand to hand combat skills. Could shoot a gun, but would probably miss. Don't expect this character to have your back. They'll be too busy being on their own.
Combat 30 - Weak. Practically useless in a fight. Could probably get off one good hit before being taken down. Could shoot a gun, but not well.
Combat 50 - Average. This person was probably in a few fights in grade school, but hasn't had any formal training. Could throw a punch and shoot a gun, but they're not the most technically adept when it comes to combat.
Combat 70 - Fit. This is probably a person who owns a punching bag, and learned young how to throw a proper punch. This person you want on your side in a fight. They probably learned how to properly shoot a weapon, as well.
Combat 100 - Prime condition. Ronda Rousey with a sniper rifle.
Speed
Speed 0 – Feeble. Come on man, a turtle could move faster than you. OH…Actually, is that a turtle there? See, it’s moving faster than you. I think you must be crippled or handicapped in some way.
Speed 30 – Weak. While you’re not as slow as a turtle, you won’t be moving around very quickly. If you have to run away from something…Well…you probably won’t escape from whatever it is. If you get away, you’re lucky.
Speed 50– Average. You’re about as fast as the average human being, which presents a series of good news, bad news. Good news, you can probably outrun any zombies that you run into. Bad news, you’re about as fast as the average human being, which means any human beings even slightly faster will catch you. Not always a good thing.
Speed 70 – Fit. You are the aforementioned slightly faster human being, though you might be faster than that. You may have done a lot of track in high school, or even ran professionally. You’re in good shape, and can outrun anyone who is average.
Speed 100 – Prime condition. You’re fast. Like…whoa you’re fast. How did you get so fast? You know what? I don’t care. You’re like a cheetah. Characters in Prime Condition for speed can move, once a week, from place to place without having a bite check placed upon them. That’s pretty cool. (Just let us know when you’re using it.)
Intelligence
Intelligence 0 – Feeble. You’re probably a newborn, or mentally handicapped in some critical way. Don’t worry, we still love you. Worry though, because zombies still want your brains, or lack there of.
Intelligence 30 – Weak. You might be a child, just learning the ways of the world, or maybe you’re simply uneducated. Others will outsmart you quickly. That’s not so good.
Intelligence 50 – Average. Congratulations, you’re as smart as the average human being. Unfortunately, the average human has an IQ under 100, so…..I’ll let you figure out what that means.
Intelligence 70 – Fit. You’re learned, you probably went to college and have some sort of working knowledge that will be useful to today’s society. Good for you!
Intelligence 100 – Prime condition. Whoa, slow down there Einstein, the rest of us have trouble keeping up with you. Characters in prime condition of intelligence have the ability to save other characters from bites. If a character near you (in the same location) is bitten, this character can perform an amputation, with both characters surviving.
